There are many of these plants throughout the side and front garden, one lot died away with some sort of fungul rot, noticed there is a tiny plant now growing in the same place. Guess they are hardy.
December 2020 Update: As we have gradually built up the gardens, that is added more and more pots, these pretty little cacti have disappeared. Possibly there are a few under ferns in the odd place or so. They could possibly be a better answer to the narrow bed out by the ensuite window. The mondo is not happy there at all, perhaps the stones are creating too much heat around the roots? or the personal insect repellant is falling to the ground and effecting them.
