Planted 6pack of Zinnias from Bunnings in long red pot 2019. Very pretty and vibrant, replaced with Marigolds in 2020.

The Marigolds did not do well, pulled them out to find that they had a
root fungus. Self sown seedlings were appearing so left pot unplanted with a view to removing all the soil,
replacing and re-potting. Seedlings appearing turned out to be Zinnias from previous year, but life for them is a struggle, not sure if it is the fungus in the soil or the fact that they are self sown.

The Marigolds were rather expensive as they were 'pots of colour' at $2 each.
